Eligibility to Ride

To use a Weelz e-bike, you must:

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Hold a valid government-issued photo ID

  • Be physically capable of operating an electric bicycle safely

  • Agree to follow all Bahamian traffic laws and local regulations

Minors are not permitted to ride Weelz e-bikes under any circumstances.

Rental & Usage Rules

  • Rentals are short-term, on-demand, and charged based on the selected plan or duration.

  • Each rental is intended for one rider only.

  • Carrying passengers, towing, racing, or stunt riding is strictly prohibited.

  • E-bikes must only be used on public roads, bike lanes, and permitted areas in accordance with local law.

  • Riding under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating substances is strictly forbidden.

Safety Responsibilities

Your safety matters to us:

  • Helmets are strongly recommended and may be required by local regulations.

  • Riders must obey all traffic signals, signage, and road rules in The Bahamas.

  • Night riding must be done with lights activated at all times.

  • You are responsible for inspecting the e-bike before riding and reporting any issues immediately.

Do not ride a bike that appears damaged, unsafe, or malfunctioning.

Welcome to Weelz, an eco-friendly e-bike rental service operating in The Commonwealth of The Bahamas. By renting, accessing, or using a Weelz e-bike, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

Care of the E-Bike

During your rental period, you are responsible for:

  • Keeping the e-bike secure and attended when not in use

  • Preventing theft, loss, or damage

  • Returning the e-bike in the same condition as received, normal wear and tear excepted

You may be charged for damage, loss, theft, vandalism, or misuse.

Autonomous System Disclaimer

Weelz operates as a fully autonomous, self-powered system that does not rely on electricity or internet from host locations. Availability of bikes, charging status, and access may vary. Weelz does not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Payments, Fees & Charges

  • Rental fees, deposits (if applicable), and penalties will be clearly displayed before rental begins.

  • Additional charges may apply for:

    • Late returns

    • Improper parking

    • Damage or loss

    • Violation of usage rules

All payments are final unless otherwise stated.
